Duracell's Ni-MH batteries are designed to ensure maximum safety. Each cell includes a resealable pressure relief mechanism to prevent excess pressure build-up in the event of excessive overcharging, exposure extreme high temperatures or other physical abuse.
Duracell's Ni-MH batteries have also been tested for adherence to appropriate industry standards (e.g., UL). The tests conducted and results are shown in the Ni-MH Technical Bulletin that can be printed from this page.
