To register, firstly complete this registration form ensuring all details are accurate and correct. Then submit 2 samples of each toy to be entered by the above deadline to the following address for selection purposes: |

A selection team of industry experts, including the NPD Group and Duracell, will then select 25 toys to be tested per country |

The selection team reserves the right to refuse entry of a toy |
| • |
If your toy is not selected for testing, you will be informed in writing. If you have specified that you wish to collect your toy(s), you need to arrange for
collection |

If your toy is selected you will then be required to send 4 samples of each toy to be tested per country to the above address by Monday 4 th June 2007. Failure to meet this deadline will result in disqualification. |

Toys and games must be supplied with any equipment or accessories required in order for it to be played (i.e. consoles / joysticks for computer games etc.) |

Toys and games must be supplied with instructions in the correct languages for the countries in which the toys are being tested |
| • |
Batteries will be supplied by Duracell. Battery type and number required, or any charging requirements, must be advised on the registration form. Failure to do so may result in disqualification |

The manufacturer will be responsible for any incident during the testing arising from defective toys and resulting in property damage or personal injury |
| • |
Testing will take place in June/July 2007 in all 9 countries, at 18 different testing locations. The 900 children will be supervised by an independent testing agency appointed by Duracell |

There are 3 main elements to the testing: |

- Quantitative: conducted with children, Top 10 Winner ranking by country and overall pan-European Top 10
- Qualitative: conducted with children, examining trends in children's play and behaviour and attitudes towards Christmas, leisure and toys and games
- Qualitative: conducted with parents which reveals insights into the selection and purchase making process of parents yielding cross cultural habits especially related to toys and games at Christmas

After testing, if you have indicated on the registration form attached that you wish to collect your toy(s) you will be required to arrange collection immediately after testing is complete. We will advise the address(es) from which the toy(s) should be collected at a later date. Please note, collection will be at your own expense |

All toys that are not collected will be distributed to charity |
| • |
Quantitative results will be announced at the end of July 2007 |
| • |
Qualitative results will be published at the start of September 2007 |
| • |
Results of testing will be established by an independent assessor appointed by Duracell and will be published by report to participating toy manufacturers |

The decisions of Duracell with respect to testing and the publishing of results of such testing are final. Duracell accepts no liability with respect to the selection or non selection of toys |

Additional requirements

Should you be selected, Duracell and its agencies will require use of your company logo and toy name and description for use in survey publicity (including literature, press and web site) before, during and after the survey. Your logo may be shown in future communication associated with the 2007 Duracell European Toy Survey including pre-publicity for 2008 Duracell European Toy Survey |

If selected you will be required to supply your logo as eps and jpeg files |
| • |
Your toy will also be photographed for publicity purposes (such as literature, press, website etc.) |
| • |
If you are a winner, Duracell may request extra toy samples for promotional purposes. To be negotiated, if required |
