The Power Those Who Protect Us battery donation program was a huge success! With your help, we’ve made a donation of 18 million Duracell batteries to over 11,000 different volunteer fire departments across the country. By the end of December, a total of 18 million batteries will be sent to volunteer fire departments. These local heroes can use the donated batteries to power their communications devices and life-saving equipment.

Since the promotion is now over, you can no longer use the in-pack code to direct your donation. But rest assured, your battery donation was activated when you purchased the pack and has been included in the donation total.

Thank you

We want to thank all of you who shared your touching personal stories, photos, and videos about your local volunteers. This kind of support inspires them to continue to risk their lives for important work.

Even musician Cee Lo Green joined our cause by re-recording his hit song “Forget You” as “Thank You” to volunteer firefighters. Check out a behind-the-scenes video from his recording session now on YouTube.

Local volunteer firefighters continue to devote their time to keeping you safe, so we encourage you to stay involved by supporting our partner, the National Volunteer Fire Council. Visit their website to find out more information about your state's association and how you can get involved in your community.
