Rated 2 out of 5 by from Batteries leaked and ruined my Apple Magic Mouse 2 Duracell recommends these batteries for computer mice, I suggest you reconsider. See for yourself the results after 6-months of use in an Apple Magic Mouse 2, while the mouse was still working - I had to replace the battery in my Magic Keyboard so I figured I might as well replace the mouse batteries too. Ouch! I hope spraying it down with ammonia and brushing it down will do the trick on cleaning it up and halting the corrosion process, either way this should not be acceptable to anyone...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Batteries burn nicely finished wood when they leak Two times now I have uncluttered my wife's beautiful maple hutch to find leaking batteries that had been set aside and underneath, in the shape of the batteries, the finish burned off. Now we don't monkey around, even partially dispensed batteries go in the trash. Don't know why they are always Duracell but it seems to be the case. Picture shows damage to hutch and a bin of partially dispensed batteries that were stored for future use. Note the brand and the fact that virtually all of them have leaked. I do not experience this with other batteries, even store brands. Time to remove all Duracell batteries and move to Energizer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 9 volt batteries, not holding charge I just changed the smoke dector battery and it continued to beep and this is a replacement battery that has been in A/C in my home (Florida). I have three left in the 6 pack carton and one is older but the guarantee is 5 years! So I have a manufacture date of March 2012, March 2015 and March 2015 and the voltage is as follows 2012 = 5.02 volts; 2015=7.84; 2015=6.69. So they apparently do not hold the factory charge!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaked in Multiple Devices and in the box! I've lost two LED flashlights to these batteries and now my FM transmitter for the car. An unused four pack even leaked in the box. On top of that two C-Cells leaked in an antique View-Master and ruined that on me. Why haven't I learned my lesson yet?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Date Code: March 2017 (Who Are They Kidding?) Unfortunately, this higher-priced, and supposedly better-quality, and long-lived battery ruined my wife's little Maglite. This little flashlight was NOT kept in a location with big temperature swings, like a car's glove box, but was in her purse! Very disappointed!! The standard advice of removing batteries from devices when not in use is impractical, especially for devices carried with a person. Totally impractical! We had expected better performance from a Duracell battery!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Major problem with Durcell batteries leaking I have endless problems with these Duracell batteries leaking and destroying my appliances. The latest item to be ruined is my LED Laser T7 torch - see photos attached. I don't seem to have the same problem when I use other branded batteries Please advise

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Kids toys! Kids drill set we bought a year ago for my son. He just started using it 6 months ago. Good batteries that last 3 month. Son loves to run around with trigger pulled. The bad it stopped working this morning. I open it to replace the batteries, all three batteries have leaked.
