Ion Speed 1000 Battery Charger is rated 2.2 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mr I have been using this, along with the original batteries, for well over a year now. I find it hard to believe there's so many negative reviews. I swear by Duracell batteries and have been exclusively using them for 30 years! You can NOT beat their quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AA/AAA BatteryCharger (is)1000. After about 6 weeks use, batteries began blinking red when I know that they were good batteries. After reading "Don's" reply to clean the battery terminals, I had a small piece of 000 sandpaper and brushed + & - poles and now it works great. A small price to pay for a great charger. $25.00 @ Sams Warehouse.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! Bought it today. Charged up the 4 AA's and off I went! I'm going to be using them in an Raspberry Pi + robotics combination and I think they'll work very well. 2.5 AH in a AA is a lot of power!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Blinking My charger has been working perfectly for about the last two months and now when I put the batteries on the charger it starts blinking. I haven't seen the charger produce a green light in over two weeks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent battery charger Misplaced the manual, can't recall the difference between the blinking red and solid red led, been about 16 months since purchase and two the batteries gave up after estimated 30 charges. All things considered I'd b another if the price was $5-8 bucks cheaper in Canada.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Gets to hot. Heat kills eletronics. Gets to hot. Heat kills electronics. Duracell knows this. The faster your batteries die for good the better so you have to buy more of their batteries! Does NOT have Independent Charging Slots. Does NOT have Accurate voltage detection that ensures no over-charging and under-charging. Does NOT have a intellectual cut-off charging method that automatically turns to trickle charge.
